Department of Hematology

The Hematology Department of PGIMER, Chandigarh offers cutting-edge diagnostic services for people with haematological disorders, such as assessments of the morphology of the bone marrow, flow cytometric immunophenotyping, cytogenetic and molecular genetic analysis for malignant, pre-malignant, and benign haematological diseases, disorders of hemostasis and thrombosis, inherited and acquired hemolytic and nutritional anaemias, etc. Additionally, it manages the hospital’s routine and emergency clinical pathology divisions, OPD blood collection, and the high-volume basic haemogram and coagulation laboratories.
